Question Top of the Line Tobaccos?

Just wondering what some of the top of the line pipe tobaccos are. You know, the popular smokes.
And how much do they cost roughly per pouch (we could use 1.5 oz pouch for the sake of the question)
You could list them by non-aromatic then aromatic as well. Just curious

I would say all of the tobaccos listed on smokingpipes.com, and the other online retailers, are top of the line. Based on supply and demand, some are more costly but all are excellent. Biggest difference is personal preference. If you want to see how others regard a particular blend check out the opinions on tobaccoreviews.com.

Well, first off, top of the line tobaccos generally don't come in a pouch.

To actually answer your question, about $10-20 for most 1.75-2oz tins. More for some, of course.

Not going to try and answer your question but, some tobacco will come in a tin and also bulk, a good example would be the very popular C&D Haunted Bookshop, a 2oz tin is $9.99 and 2 oz bulk is only $5.63 (smokingpipes) so do a bit of homework before you buy

Keep in mind that many people feel the bulk version of a blend is inferior (for whatever reason) to the tinned. It may be worth while trying the tinned version first, then if you like it try the bulk. If the bulk isn't as good as the tinned, and you only know you don't like the bulk, you may be missing out.

Food for thought, thanks for the tip

I should have worded my post more carefully. I'm in no shape to buy bulk tobacco. I mainly used 1.5oz as a benchmark. But from the feedback here, thus far, 2oz tins should be used for the question. Sorry about that guys.....

I was mainly look for best flavored tobaccos on the high end. Still new here..but I'll get the hang of it as time goes by

Bulk Tobacco = Going to a site like smokingpipes and buying 1oz of say 10 different blends to try out, dont have to buy a lot at all, one thing to remember is if you dont spend a lot you will have to figure in shipping around $10 and a little tax

You really just gotta get out there and try them for yourself. Cornell and Diehl, GL Pease, etc are all premium pipe tobaccos.
