Rush fans lose Neil Peart

Neil Peart passed away today from brain cancer. Being a huge Rush fan myself, it made me reminisce all the superb performances I've seen them play. Neil was a truly phenomenal drummer. He is also credited for writing the vast majority of the their lyrics. Rest in peace Neil Peart.

Big Rush fan as well. Sad to hear this news. Lots of good memories of some of the most musically perfect concerts I've ever been to. The drum solos were truly epic. RIP

Extremely sad. One of my favorite bands and one of the world’s greatest percussionists. I cherish the times I got to see them live including the R40 tour.

Sad to hear one of the world’s best drummers isn’t with us anymore. Not a huge Rush fan but, Neil as a drummer was extremely talented. The world of music will definitely miss this ICON!

I was a fan of their first album.
They had mad talent for 3 Canadians.

Very sad news indeed. My first concert ever, my brother took me to see Rush during their Presto tour. Been a big Rush fan ever since. Without a doubt, he was one of the best drummers of all time. RIP.

I thought they were all from The Great White North. My mistake.
