Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra (Oscuro) Binder: La Canela Dominican Republic. Filler: La Canela Dominican Republic.
Shape: Toro Size: 5 3/4 X 54 (L400) Draw: Perfect Burn: Had to touch it up a lot because the wrapper is so oily. Construction: Wrapper was VERY oily and silky!
These cigars are made with the darkest, richest Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers you will ever smoke! The filler and binder are grown on Litto's farm in La Canela Dominican Republic.
This is one of the strongest cigars I've ever smoked, if not THE strongest. It starts out with loads of pepper and spice leaving a sour taste in your mouth for the forst 2/3. This cigar only builds strength getting ready to kick you right in the gut! As you can see, I left about 2". I generally nub my cigars - NOT this one!
Overall, it's a great cigar if you like pepper and spice, but on the other hand, it's so damn strong, it wraps its hand around your nuts and gives them a firm tug!
You better eat a HEAVY meal before getting in the ring with this ass kicker!
Re: La Flor Dominicana Ligero Cabinet Oscuro Review
thanks for the review david... i smoke alot of lfd sticks and im particularly fond of the l300 cabinet oscuro (just a bit smaller than the one you smoked)... they are very strong no question but if you let them sit at a lower rh (like 60-63%) the burn problems with disappear and that sour taste that you found will turn into a sweet finish... the cigar is still a beast but at the lower rh its much more enjoyable
