Honestly haven't smoked anything from him that was bad. Sure there are some that are hohum..but none I've had could come close to being called a dog rocket.

I'm interested to try these. Thanks for the Review Phillip.
Shannen,
Thanks. I'm telling you from the heart. You will not be disappointed.

Stay away from the R4. It's not good. It's a throwaway.

Re: A New Cigar by Rocky Patel

I also forgot, Patel is coming out with seven new blends:

Rocky Patel Sunday
Rocky Patel Monday
Rocky Patel Tuesday
Rocky Patel Wednesday
Rocky Patel Thursday
Rocky Patel Friday
Rocky Patel Saturday

Pull out a rocky each day of the week!

Next thing he will be on Home Shopping Network (not a bad idea actually, now that I think about it!)

A lack of preparation on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part.

His cigar blends seem to multiply like rabbits or feral cats. Not like the cute cats you want to take home. I mean more like the screwed up inbreed ones that have one eye, five legs and an extra tail. You just want to put it down.

Pete's had three releases in the past three weeks. (Depending on where you count the Monster Series), if not two in two.

Re: A New Cigar by Rocky Patel

I got my box of Signature Series by Patel today. These are toros. The review I did was with a robusto. The toro's spiciness is dialed back a bit compared to the robusto. Instead of coming on strong right at the beginning, it ramps up gradually but never becomes overwhelming

Re: A New Cigar by Rocky Patel

I bought a sampler (Test Flight) of the Rocky Famous Signature Series last week. Having my first stick now, the Toro. Its a bit pedestrian but actually not too bad. As advertised a little spicy and peppery. Overall okay. If you can pick these up at a discount might be worth a shot.
