Nestor Miranda Special Selection Coffee Break Oscuro
Wow that's a long name! I probably should have let this rest a bit more before I smoked it but it looked so perfect and beautiful, I just had to!
This stick looks unbelievable. The dark oily wrapper hugs the rest of the perfectly formed tobacco so well that you really have to just stare at it for a while and admire it. It's very tightly made. The ash is very firm as well. The draw, however really made this take a hit on construction.
The flavor starts off nutty with strong black coffee flavors. About a quarter of the way in I start getting toasted wood flavors and just a slight hint of black pepper. The coffee and nuttiness goes away between a thrid and half way through. I can really feel the oils coming off on my fingers now too. I still can't get much smoke because of the draw. A little over half and the coffee comes back with a vengeance but the nuttiness doesn't come back. It stayed this way through the rest of the cigar with the toasted wood flavors tapering off. Near the end it started to get a little harsh so I put it down with about a quarter left.
Over all this is a good cigar. The draw was way too tight. I'd give this 3 out of 5. Because of the draw this thing couldn't be smoked on a coffee break though. I enjoyed it quite a bit!
It was.....well, let's just say it was.
