Being the full/full master I know this is a fun challenge for you though. You'll get 4 and 5!

Ren you really did post a great review. If anyone hasnít tried to guess a blind review, well itís a very difficult task and you nailed it. I think I got one right out of 4 when we did a blind review trade. Itís difficult for sure! Good job buddy...

Last review just sold me on a cigar that I am embarrassed to say I have not tried yet. This mistake will be taken care of very soon !

@JtAv8tor #4 review. I tried. I really did...

This log or tree branch I'm eyeballing here but it looks to be 5.5x60. Maybe 6x60. Either way the day I got the box of blind review cigars I kind of dreaded this one everytime I saw it. Maybe having ill thoughts before I reviewed this stick played in the back of my head while I smoked it. Who knows?

Prelight-- Off the wrapper I get cedar and that's pretty much it. The foot gives off tobacco and leather. I'm glad I reviewed this stick indoors because my next door neighbors had they seen me put this cigar up to my nose might think it was something else judging by the size. Off the draw I get dark chocolate and pepper.

I'm happy to report that my Xicar XO cutter is nearby. If it wasn't I would have had to use a punch to get it going. Took about a minute to light because I'm still using a single jet lighter. I'm lazy.

First few puffs and into the first third I get chocolate, stale leather, pepper, and cashews. I could do with all but the stale leather. It's also taking a bit more work than usual to get smoke. It's not plugged. It's just a huge ass cigar. I look at the clock on my laptop and I'm already at 20 minutes in with just half an inch smoked. Jeebus.

Then the middle kicks in. When I say kicks in I mean for the worse. Now we all know everyones palate is different and one cigar from the same box could be a mind blowing experience and the next cigar sitting right besides it could make you wonder if it was even the same blend. Whatever this is it was one of the bad ones. I'm now getting kerosene, burnt tobacco, and oversalted pumpkin seeds. I still can't get the taste off my tongue after brushing my teeth and tongue twice already today.

I was also at the 1 hour and 25 minute mark at the halfway point before I had to throw in the towel. Now a lot of us joke about Gurkha around here and whatever this is that's my guess. No idea on the blend. Just that it's a Gurkha. If it is that's worth at least half a point right? I'm kind of leaning on it being a Gurkha too because I joked about it before you sent out my fiver of blind sticks. I probably had it coming. So that's my no holds bar on whatever blind cigar #4 is. Now if you excuse me I'm going to try to smoke something else and see if I can taste anything

I have to say I have seen mixed reviews to this, I have enjoyed the ones I smoked, but not too upset that this was the last one in my humidor, and I believe it was from a box that I got about 2 years ago.

I do appreciate the very candid reviews. I promise it was not a Gurkha though.

Without further .....

Also no reason to apologize, heck if you didn't like you I would not have been upset if you had tossed in after two puffs.

Man. See what a difference in size can make for a blend. I like the corona viva in the Undercrown line. Granted I think it's a little stronger but still.

And it didn't put off a ton of smoke like most Drew Estates usually do. Weird.

Do most people keep them resting for 2 plus years ? Curious if that could have anything to do with it with that line ?

I store at 63-65 Rh and temps stay between 68-70.

I have a few of the corona viva's that are almost 5 years old now in one of my overflow coolers. Will have to look later tonight and do some Science in a few days.

Wow! I never would've guessed a size difference would make it that bad. Only experience I've had with size difference was with a Alec Bradley Maxx sampler but it was just length differences, they were all 60rg, but I never knew it made that big of a difference in the experience.
I would've been screwed with that guess too because I've only had the toro of that cigar that was a long time ago. Way to tough it out!
