Water probably 95% of the time, Tea pairs nicely and occasionally I will have a glass of lemonade or root beer.

I'm fairly new to the pipe but, I've found so far I like a sweeter drink with a pipe. Pepsi or Sprite or something. Or water.
I've tried whiskey with it and it didn't pair like it would with a cigar.

I've found that carbonated drinks have a weird affect on my mouth.. Let's call it the "pop rocks affect". Not a fan.

sent from Bob's.. mowing his lawn to pay for the customs I smoked.. only three years of mowing left..

i agree. scotch's/whisky seem harsh with a pipe. i notice my saliva increases with a pipe and notice that i feel the need to spit, so no need to waste the good stuff

As a rule, either a good cup of Tetley's British Black Tea, Genmaicha Tea, Earl Grey, or Oolong Teas. I am also fond of a pipe with Kenya AA, or Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.

This is a tribute to the preferred beverages of the great @JimInks.

Personally, I prefer black coffee with a pipe. I roast my own beans brew the coffee in an Aeropress or drip coffee maker if I'm making more than one cup.
