And so it begins... Coming to you from Saint Petersburg, FL.
Hello fellow hobbyists!
I'm still very new to the hobby and joy of pipe smoking. My collection is small and my tobacco list as well. Lighting technique still needs work... But I love every minute of it and see my self enjoying this as a past time for many long years.
As far as pipes go my first pipe is a 16" clay tavern pipe, my first tobacco (and still strong favorite) is that wonderful LFB that Peter Stokkaby makes. Right now working threw a tin of McClelland's Contest Blend, which is nearly, and sadly, almost gone. Smokes very well in my cheep but trusty big bowl Wessex and a nice scotch.
As far as cigars go I have very little experience and know less than nothing. I've had only one reasonably fine cigar and while I enjoyed it I have not sought out the opportunity as avidly as my pipes.
I am not a wealthy or particularly well educated individual, my profession is modest, some even say lowly, but I enjoy both fine and simple things with equal pleasure. The same for people, judgment is the providence of gods not men.
Here's to the potential of friendship.
