Am i in the right place?

Well i seem to have 2 Pipes in my possession so i guess i am god help me, what the hell im doing with pipes i dont know, just been reading you guys posts then @MattT posts up some nice looking pipes at great prices and boom, im here.
First off let me show you what i bought, its a (maybe) T. Christiano, whatever it is it caught my eye and looks even better in hand.
A bonus in the box is an Olympic games Dr Grabow smaller pipe that Matt threw in as a minder. I think Dino sanitized and cleaned up these pipes for Matt, great job he did.
Without going into a very long story i happen to have some tobacco on hand, the 2 in the bags are both Lane, blended by a cigar shop owner/friend, one is a Cavendish the other a "Sequoia" both were in bulk jars and i got 1 oz of each, i also have a unopened tin of Drew Estates 'Harvest on Hudson" bought Jan 2017 (not by me)
Today i went to buy some pipe cleaners and ended up with a pouch of Captain Black "Cherry" (musta jumped in the bag)

Questions, which Tobacco should i try first? which pipe should i use with it? anyone have a link on "how to fill and light my first bowl"? and im sure ill have more questions as i go.

Nice pickup, as I am still a pipe newb myself I can offer limited advice and it may not be 100% accurate.

My understanding for cherry blends is they will ghost a pipe really strong. So if you chose to try that what ever pipe you use will most likely always have a hint o the cherry in it.

Other than that I canít give much advice sorry

So aromatics (infused) I prefer in my pipe baccy

I am not a huge fan of the non aromatics for pipes.

I have a cob that occasionally will get used for the non aro but all my other pipes, all 4 of them now are for aromatics.

Welcome to the Ďother sideí it looks like all of your tobaccoís are Aros, there will be some crossover of flavors but I donít think youíve got anything that canít be smoked over with a couple of bowls. Pick one that smells good and give it a go!
Drying your tobacco some will help decrease the chance of burning your taste buds.
Donít puff very hard, just small sips, you donít really want a big cloud of smoke, tiny wisp will give the best flavor.

If I see a stick that made a noob nic sick,I put it on my list as a must try. (UBC03)

2nd on the Muttonchop Piper Videos. Once you get past the fact that he seems like a character Chris Farley might have played mocking serious pipers, you find that there is a wealth of information on his videos. He is long winded and repetitive, but it is effective. Of all the advise I've read and received on puff, he seems to be pretty much in align with...

I think that Harvest on the Hudson may be really hard to find now as I'm not sure if Drew Estate is still going to to pipe tobacco, but every Drew Estate pipe tobacco I've tried has been really enjoyable.

I'd probably start with one of those Lane blends since Lane is pretty universally liked as a blender, plus they are in bags so you want to start using them or get them jarred to be preserved.

The pipe community seems to be growing here, like an epidemic, and its great to see you over here.

Hunt Hard, Kill Swiftly, Waste Nothing, Offer No Apologies...

@Fusion If you want to try some non-aro's stop by and take some off my hands. I got bored with pipes after a couple months and kind of dumped the habit. I gave a lot of my pipe tobacco to Ponce but I still have a couple jars, at least I should I can double check what I have when I get home in 30 minutes.

Personally I didn't care for the aro's I tried. They smelled great but they didn't taste like they smelled. Also tongue bite is no joke and I only experienced that with aro's.
