The home we are buying on the other hand... Its a really weird market; home values have soared in the last year here and there is little inventory at my desired condition/amenities/price point. When something does come up, its under contract in a few hours typically. We made a high offer; however no one believes that the home will appraise for what we offered or what the seller is asking. The home is an nearly immaculate manufactured home....but it has a deck structure that is attached to the home and is not self supporting. This is a huge no-no on manufactured homes, from a loan perspective. From a construction perspective...it was done right and is in perfect condition.

There are a couple of other small issues; BUT if the appraiser does not mention any of it, then none of it matters. Waiting on the appraisal.

My projects are proceeding as planned. Right now I wish I had a few classes or some project manager experience, the learning curve is like a ski slope.

Anyhow I should be back around more after next week, I miss you guys!
Good luck Brother!

Cool thing is, thanks to her cleanings, a year ago the dentist said I would lose my teeth without surgery....in about 15 years. This year he FINALLY told me my periodontitis is stable and no longer recommends surgery unless there is a change!!

Hot damn, score one for the good guys!

Have a great day folks. Remember...you can't have a week"end", without a beginning. We'll get through this one day at a time.

Crapatalk strikes again!

I went through the 4 cleanings per year, my case not as bad. I had about 10K in dental work and decided it was time to get my act together. The Army did a horrible job on my mouth so after the corrections my civilian dentist made, I was encouraged to use a bottle of fluoride a couple times daily. I hate flossing but didn’t want to jeopardize my bridge work. I purchased a water pic, I mix warm water, baking soda and a small amount of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. I do that daily before bedtime, then gargle and rinse with the peroxide, scrape my tongue with a tongue scrapper. I also switched to Pro-Health toothpaste. The dentist was impressed. Gum redness corrected. It takes about 7 minutes for the routine but has worked great! I quickly went back to the normal cleaning of two times per year.

Look what just shot to the top of my birthday list, which is only 6 weeks away for those that haven't put it on their calendar yet. The fabled Sakasquatch!
This would be a welcome addition to the man cave.

FYI....these seem to be a famous exclusive and come free when you buy a box of select Saka sticks.

York bike week just kicked off the other day so traffic is crazy around here near the Harley plant and the whole way up 30 to Gettysburg. It's raining and still dark so I'm heading up to the shop for a few hours while traffic is light.
Everyone have a great weekend.
