Just finished putting in 5 more "online" job applications. Been worrying much about finding a good job so it's been hell on my sleep the past week. I'm officially at the point of being bored stupid here I think I'm going to have to fire up a special cigar later tonight.

Giving electrolysis rust removal a try. Replacement trunk hinges for my '51 Mercury. Mine are bent and have weak springs. I bought them over the phone from an 87 yr old hoarder. Said they were in "good condition". They are impossible to find on the market so I had to pay $150 for the pair. When it comes to "unobtainium" car parts you can't complain about condition.

Interested to see and hear of the results. My father has a 57 MGB and most of his parts come from the UK and have looked about the same sometimes as yours did. I've driven that car once on the freeway and it was quite an experience. When you have a semi truck on your left and you can drive underneath the truck to the other lane you wonder how much longer it is until the next exit off the freeway
