Headed to Nashville for our anniversary

Going at the end of the month.

No plans really just to get away, looking for something to do that's, 1. indoors so it's not as hot as satan's taint, and 2. Not crowded, I don't like crowds. We will probably visit a cigar lounge or 2.

Any suggestions Nashvillians?

If you want to splurge take her to Opryland Hotel for the night, watch the water light show, drink at the bar...

Union Station Hotel Downtown if you want to walk around lower Broadway, plenty of bars, restaurants and entertainment. Wildhorse Saloon, 2nd Ave N.

Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, country Music Hall of Fame

Might want to check out Germantown, its on the National Register of Historic Places. Many of Nashville’s most critically acclaimed restaurants makes it a culinary destination.

My favorite Cigar lounge is in the Glutch downtown Casa de Montecristo bar and lounge 600 9th Ave S. Large Humidor, well ventilated, good prices. Outdoor seating

Primings Cigar bar and lounge 701 4th Ave S. Smaller Humidor, well ventilated.

I think you would like Smokers Abbey, older, smaller, Artistically different, friendly, laid back. Serves Beer. Cons: small Humidor and not regulated well last time I was there, ventilation not great but you can sit outside with a beer.

I would be glad to meet up for a cigar with you both if I can, depending on date and time.

@Olecharlie she's ok with the meet up, I figured she would be since we don't stand on ceremony much even with Anniversaries.

*If* I get home early enough Friday we'll hit town on the 26th through Sunday the 28th. If I'm late getting home it'll be Saturday morning when we roll in.

My main memory of Nashville is that you’ll find better musicians in the downtown bars/clubs on a Wednesday afternoon than you’ll find in most cities’ bars at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night.

I went down to the Gulch this past Saturday to meet up with a friend. We met at the lounge at 11:15 so we could park in their lot; walked across the street and had lunch at Burgers and Bourbon. Walked back and there wasn’t any parking anywhere. Nashville is always crowded... early is better at most the lounges on Weekends for sure.

Their are some smaller lounges away from town that’s no too bad. Mt Juliet BigStar is one, smokey Cigar in Hendersonville another. Just FYI, I should be available on that Saturday.
